Darwin Day Celebration

It's Darwin's 198th birthday, today.
To celebrate Darwin's Day, UK SHIFT is hosting Dr. Krupa's talk, "The Resistance to Evolution: Today's Social Objection to Evolution" at Center Theater in the Student Center (University Of Kentucky, Lexington) at 6 p.m.
Be there to celebrate a man whose amazing foresight has enriched Biology.

"The Resistance to Evolution: Today's Social Objection to Evolution"
What more to say about this subject other than "Sheer stupidity!" (You must have guessed I am not a big fan of creationism or Intelligent design).

"Be there to celebrate "
Sure.. er.. what city are you in?

@Twisted DNA - That would be my response as well. But I am glad that there is at least this lecture that is being done in honor of Darwin, in a school that boast of 4 separate biological schools!!!
It is in Lexington, KY - as the link to the UK SHIFT suggests :)

for some reason I feel like every year its only Krupa who gives a lecture on Darwin day.

Happy Darwin day.

@Sameera - I am pissed off to. Despite having MCB/EEB, Plant Path, Ag and IBS along with Med school, all UK came up with was freaking Krupa's lecture!
I am thankful tha we have atleast that :)
